Launch of new VETNET LLN website

Even though regional groupings are still active within the network, the website no longer has regional sections. Instead the home page has three active “buttons”:

• VetNet News (VNN) – the place for news of events, information about the network, success stories, announcing new progression agreements, etc. An events planner is included too.
• CAVE – our Courses in Animal and Veterinary Education course finder with careers information and case studies is no longer a separate website.
• Members Area – where members can access resources, publications, discussions, meeting information, minutes, etc)

As well as new material, we have migrated plenty of legacy material from the “old” site. The new site goes live on 1^st August 2011. There will be a period of smoothing and polishing rough edges but we hope you will find the new site streamlined and easy to navigate.

Of course, if the website is to reflect its members’ activities we need items from members for VNN news and events. A simple template will be available to make this a quick and easy task.
