MBE for RVC Technician
Thirty year contribution to veterinary education recognised in MBE for Royal Veterinary College technician
Senior Technician at the Royal Veterinary College for more than 30 years, Andrew Crook, was named as a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2012 New Year Honours for services to veterinary science.
Andrew has played a key role in the RVC’s ‘widening participation’ agenda to get young people from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds interested in veterinary science. His skills as a teacher of anatomy have also been welcomed by VETNET LLN members participating in his continuing professional development workshops in dissection – a cut above! Congratulations!
