Steve Leonard becomes VETNET LLN's first Honorary President

VETNET LLN is delighted to announce that Steve Leonard has agreed to become the Association's Honorary President.

Steve has two careers – practicing vet and TV presenter. As a fifth year student at Bristol University Vet School he took part in the BBC series Vets School. The popularity of the series led to presenting opportunities for veterinary and animal-related series around the world. His presenting credits include Ultimate Killers, Orang-utan Diaries and, most recently, ITV’s Animal Kingdom - filmed in Erindi Game Reserve in Namibia.

Given Steve’s links with veterinary science, behaviour and conservation – he’s an excellent choice to be VETNET LLN’s first Honorary President. He has already filmed projects for VETNET LLN -HE in the Animal Sector, Working with Horses and Chemistry for Biomedical Sciences. We are sure that learners can take inspiration from his work, interests and support for vocational learners. They’d be very lucky to get a TV career too .... but you never know!
