'Animal Management - New Horizons in Teaching & Research'

VETNET National CPD Conference

Monday 8 July 2013, Royal Veterinary College, London

2012 delegates said,

  • "Really impressed, thought it would be all vets, so positive about the diversity of the audience"
  • "I'm a student and have found it incredibly informative and interesting"

Conference has always delivered great value CPD and a chance to renew contact with other professionals in the network to debate the issues and share best practice.    This year, it promises to be bigger and better than ever!

We’re delighted to be welcoming Professor Les Ebdon, CBE DL, Director of Fair Access to Higher Education from the Office of Fair Access, to deliver the keynote address and we’ve enhanced the programme with break-out sessions tailored to the needs of different target audiences.    So, for example, students may get to grips with a haptic cow whilst HE and FE staff to take part in Q&A session with discipline leads from the Higher Education Academy (HEA) around the subject of good practice in teaching and learning in Biological & Veterinary Science.

There are free or discounted rates for members – Institutional members, for example, are entitled to four FREE places and extra discounted places at only £50.  The rate for non-members is only £100 per delegate.  See the conference delegate rates for full details and book early to secure your place.

VETNET LLN is grateful to the HEA for conference sponsorship.  HE staff and students may be eligible for a HEA travel award towards conference expenses.  See the HEA website for forms and guidance.
